Field tests started

ARLESHEIM (April 30, 2005) --- With the delivery of a Stirling Energy Module (SEM) to Gasverbund Mittelland AG, Arlesheim the field test phase could successfully be started. Additional Stirling Energy Modules (SEM) will be delivered to utility companies in Switzerland and in Germany during the coming months.

According to Dr. Michael Loretan, member of the Board of Directors of Stirling Systems Ltd., an important milestone could be reached. "We are confident, that our devices will stand the test of time during the upcoming field tests and that Stirling Systems Ltd. will become the leading provider of CHP units in the future".
